Where is Bellaboo's and how do I get there?

Bellaboo's Play and Discovery Center at Three Rivers County Park is located at the intersection of 28th Avenue and Colorado Street in Lake Station, Indiana. Since Bellaboo's is within Three Rivers County Park there are various addresses for other areas on the park site. Mail should be directed to Bellaboo's @ Lake County Parks, 8411 E. Lincoln Highway, Crown Point, IN 46307

Note: Because the entrance ramp off Central Avenue onto I-80/04 going west is currently under construction, alternate directions when leaving Bellaboo's are to travel east on Central Avenue for 3 miles to Ripley Street (U.S. 51) in Lake Station then north to I-80/94 to the west entrance.

Coming from south of I-80/94 on I-65:  Exit I-65 at I-80/94 east and immediately exit at Central Avenue then left (west) to Colorado Street.  Turn left (south) on Colorado, go over the highway and straight into Three Rivers County Park and Bellaboo’s.

Coming from west of I-65 on I-80/94:  Exit I-80/94 at Central Avenue then left (west) to Colorado Street.  Turn left (south) on Colorado, go over the highway and straight into Three Rivers County Park and Bellaboo’s.

Coming from east of Ripley Street (US 51) on I-80/94: Exit I-80/94 at Ripley Street (US 51) south (exit 15).  At Central Avenue turn right (west) onto Central for 3 miles to Colorado Street.  Turn left (south) onto Colorado, go over the highway and straight into Three Rivers County Park and Bellaboo’s.

Coming from north of I-80/94 on I-65 and the Indiana Toll Road: Exit I-65 at I-80/94 east and immediately exit at Central Avenue then left (west) to Colorado Street.  Turn left (south) on Colorado, go over the highway and straight into Three Rivers County Park and Bellaboo’s.

Prefer to stay off the major highways?  Ridge Road (at some locations identified as US 6) is a continuous east/west road from Lansing, IL to Westville, IN.  Broadway runs north and south from Gary to Crown Point and intersects with Ridge Road in Glen Park.  US 51 runs north and south from Lake Station to Merrillville/Crown Point with jogs and turns through Hobart.  From the intersection of Ridge Road and US 51 it is about one mile north to Central Avenue.

NOTE: On the map below and google maps the locator is not exactly correct but Bellaboo says it is getting closer. We will keep trying to fix this problem.
